What was the impact of the reflecting telescope?

I have a report due next week on Sir Isaac Newton and the impact of the reflecting telescope. I really want to get it done this week because I have plans. =p I already have all the basics down. I just want someone to answer that question and I'll be practically done with it. =D Please? I'm bnot asking you to do the report for me.

Reflecting telescopes have no chromatic aberration, because the light doesn't pass through the objective; it bounces off it. This was a plus (it's easier to make big mirrors than big lenses), but also a minus, because Newton got some of the physics wrong.

He didn't understand the relationship between wavelength and refractive index, and it was over a century before anybody looked seriously at refracting telescopes again.
